Every P1 child with 111+ gets in for LGS.
When all those
have been admitted they start admitting P2s by score.
This usually goes down to 113- 114 or so, but can be lower in waiting list later allocations.
so if you are p1, a 111 would have gotten your child a place.
However be aware that LOTS of children from P2-P3 pass but don’t get a place. so you can’t appeal for non-qualification just because you live nearby, just as you can’t appeal for not gettin a place with a high score if you live in P3.
the places are given out strictly according to criteria and it’s very unusual (though not completely unheard of) to succeed at LGS appeal.
